Blog Post~ 1

Hi, this is my first blog post! I wanted to update everyone on my activities this summer. For the past seven months, I have been working as a ceramic assistant to Eliza Au. The project consists of about seven hundred pieces, all slip casted, that will be displayed later in the fall. Right now, we are mostly glazing them.

It is a little hard to do anything for personal clay projects when it is summer and I have no access to a studio. So I have taken up teaching myself to do linocut prints. I'm finding it fun to challenge my brain by thinking in 2D instead of 3D. Besides that, I've done a little bit of beading and crocheting.
